Gene Stewart, Vice President, Business Development: Gene is responsible for developing consulting opportunities directly with the hospital industry as well as via strategic partnerships with key hospital technology vendors. Gene has 19 years experience working in various sales and senior sales management roles in the document automation software industry, with the last eight years focused in healthcare. He served as Director, Strategic Alliances with an enterprise CAD software company, where he developed worldwide partnerships with such companies as Autodesk, Xerox, and Bentley Systems. His Healthcare background includes selling enterprise document automation systems to hospitals and IDN's as well as business development roles where he has nurtured productive relationships with many major HIS vendors. Gene holds a B.S. in Industrial Management from the University of Tennessee.
Gary Wood, President: Gary is responsible for the overall strategic vision and operations of DTE Consulting. He has over twenty years experience in the hospital industry, working his way up from a staff level position to the CIO/Regional Senior Vice President Operations Kentucky/Indiana Region at Lourdes. Recognized as an innovator in Healthcare Information Technology by many of the large industry vendors, Gary positioned Lourdes as one of the most technologically advanced hospitals in the industry. Gary built an IT infrastructure that supports enterprise electronic forms on demand, hospital wide EMR, PAC's, hospital wide speech recognition dictation, remote physician chart access, total wireless functionality, bedside charting , tele-radiology, biometric thumb print registration, surgery supply barcode scanning , supply chain management barcoding , and IP Telephony.
